The Mercury Wine Week is Durban’s premier wine event and is an annual occasion on most wine drinker’s calendars.

Our visitors wait patiently for the event in order to restock their cellars at incredible specials!

Public: 29th August 2019 (17:30pm – 21:00pm)

Event: 30th August 2019 (17:30pm – 21:00pm) 

31st August 2019 (17:30pm – 21:00pm)

Break Down: 31 August (21:00pm – 23:00pm) and 1 September (9:30am – 11:30am)

Venue:

The Mercury Wine Week is back again at THE MERCURY & SIBAYA LOUNGE, Durban.

This is KZN’s largest and most premier wine show.

Showcasing over 80 suppliers and hosting around 4000 visitors annually.


What We Provide:

  • We ship your wine (from Cape Town) directly to the event– at no charge!!This show is covered by a liquor licence.
  • A well established prestigious show with a huge marketing campaign including posters, radio advertising, press and digital media coverage.
  • We unpack, stock your fridges, get your wines ready at your stands.
  • Over the 3 days we assist you tidying, restocking and preparing your stand for trading.

Wine Sales:

At this event – exhibitors can sell their wine/ products directly from the stands or take orders for delivery later.

Please note the following terms:

  1. Estates doing their own sales will be completely responsible for their sales, stock and delivery.
  2. Estates may choose to take their orders and delivery from the Estate, or to bring stock in daily to sell directly from their stand.
  3. Conker Exhibitions have been granted permission to provide a Liquor License that will cover the whole event.
  4. Only sealed bottles will be allowed to leave the premises.
  5. We will provide stickers that each bottle/case needs to have stuck to it in order to pass through security.
  6. Bottles/cases without stickers will NOT be allowed through security.
  7. If only orders are taken, delivery will be entirely the Estates responsibility.
  8. Any delivery fees must be cleared to the purchaser upfront.
  9. We will include the option to order credit card machines in our Exhibitor Manual which Estates are welcome to make use of. Alternatively, they can bring their own credit card machines.

Stands:

  • All stands will be a standard size 2M x 2M table space
  • 1 x table
  • 2 x chairs
  • 1 x ice bucket and ice
  • 1 x spittoon
  • 1 x water
  • 1 x packet cream crackers per night
  • 1 x tablecloth

We do not provide bottle openers or pourers – if you require more than one ice bucket, please arrange your own. (Please note extras can be ordered from Exhibitor Manual prior to the show).


Please note:

  • A maximum of two Estates may share 1 stand.
  • An invoice will be raised on receipt of your booking contract.
  • Payments to be made by the 31th of July 2019.
  • Build Up: 28 August (8:00am – 15:30pm).
  • Break Down: 31 August 21:00-23:00 and 1 September 9:30-11:30

  • PLEASE NOTE:

    • An invoice will be raised on receipt of this Contract to Exhibit.
    • 50% payment is due immediately on invoice and balance by 31st July 2019.

    All cheques to be drawn in favour of CONKER INVESTMENTS and marked "not transferable".
    Direct Deposit details will be included on INVOICE.

    Conditions:
    On signature of this contract to exhibit, both the PROMOTER and the EXHIBITOR and the EXHIBITOR'S representative agree to the terms and conditions provided, and to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Exhibition and any agreements which may be imposed by the Authorities or Landlords as a condition of the allotment of space. The EXHIBITOR hereby agrees that this agreement shall constitute an irrevocable offer to the PROMOTER by the EXHIBITOR to conclude this agreement with the PROMOTER (please read attached terms and conditions carefully).
