FEAST OF FLAVOURS AT MERCURY WINE WEEK

This year’s Mercury Wine Week, taking place at the Greyville Convention Centre, Durban, from Wednesday 30 August to Friday 1 September, offers a feast of flavours.

Wine lovers will be treated to sumptuous fare, prepared by popular caterers, ‘Eat Greek.’ A harvest table brimming with Greek fare fused with South African flavours, will offer a wide ‘buffet’ type selection, including spicy butternut and mustard samoosas plus delicious biltong and cheese samoosas. Traditional Greek favourites will include Greek mezze .. dolmades, artichokes, brinjal, dips, calamari, lamb and chicken.

The Bubbly Bar will also offer an explosion of flavor, with tidbits provided to add different taste sensations to sparkling wine. Explore the popular trend of adding exotic flavours like candy floss, strawberries, rosemary and mint, to your glass.

Come and meet some of the creators of our country’s finest blends, whilst sampling hundreds of reds, whites, roses and sparkling wines.
